Description: This piece began with a photo taken at Horseneck Beach in Westport, Mass., in winter. The photo showed these strange and wonderful orbs of light and color around the sun. The sky and the sea were magically lit and wild. I worked on the painting and let go and reworked and let go, to get the details I wanted and the feeling right.
