Fitchburg Historical Society Fundraiser Takes a Lighthearted Look at Fitchburg History, with
Fitchburg History Trivia Quiz Show “School Days Edition” on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 6 PM

(August 11, 2022) The Fitchburg Historical Society is excited to announce the second installment of our popular community trivia night series called Fitchburg History Trivia Quiz Show.
The low-priced fundraiser continues with the Fitchburg History Trivia Quiz Show School Days edition on Saturday, September 24 at 6 p.m.

“Come watch local celebrities match wits and their knowledge of Fitchburg History—with lots of help from the audience—for a casual and fun way to refresh your Fitchburg History know-how,” says Susan Navarre, the Executive Director of the Fitchburg Historical Society. “You’ll give your brain a workout with the questions, and we expect people to learn something new from the answers.”

This is the second event in a series of trivia nights. Our first event was held in July. We had delicious foods and specialty drinks, a table filled with raffle prizes, and an exciting night of Fitchburg history trivia.
The M.C. and quiz mistress is Jessie Olson, the new Executive Director of the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance.

For community members interested in attending the All-Star Fitchburg History Trivia nights, tickets cost $25 and are available in limited numbers at the Historical Society and via EventBrite.
Your ticket gives you access to the joy of trivia, access to our new historic exhibition, plus food and beverages from local restaurants.

The Fitchburg Cultural Council invites all members of the Fitchburg area community to join them for a virtual Community Input Meeting and Grantee Reception on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 6pm – 7pm.

The Fitchburg Cultural Council needs your input! Last year the Fitchburg Cultural Council (FCC) granted more than $40,000 to projects in and around Fitchburg. The FCC requests past FCC grantees, as well as the people who live and work in Fitchburg, to advise on how best to allocate public dollars for this coming season.

Feedback is requested on: 1.) What current programs and activities – in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences are important to support or maintain and 2.) how have you, your organization, your children and/or the community been affected by council grants.
