Art with Intention II – NAWAMA

Gallery Sitka announces the “Art with Intention II” exhibition featuring 15 artists from the National Association of Women Artists—MA Chapter. The opening reception and celebration on Sunday, August 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. is free and open to the public.

The show features multi- and mixed-mediums, such as varnish, pigment on wood panel, encaustic, fiber, acrylic, oils, watercolor on handmade paper, acrylic painting over hand-pulled acrylic mono-print, collage-print, mixed papers, and marker on Arches board. Many of the artists will attend the reception.

The Newport gallery is located on the corner of Spring and Franklin Streets. The show will be displayed through September 4.
