Gallery Sitka announces the exhibition “Portrait of Nature” by sculptor Melanie Zibit and artist/photographer Zen Saito. The public is invited to the free opening reception on Sunday, May 5 from 2:30-4:30pm; Saito and Zibit will be in attendance. The show will be displayed through June 5. 
My brush strokes are fast and non-deliberate. I have no predetermined result. I paint how I feel at that moment. My paintings can be enjoyed up close. Most important is to take your time and let the painting emerge for you. 
Gallery Sitka announces an exhibition with the National Association of Women Artists—MA Chapter called “Art with Intention.” The opening reception and celebration on Saturday, May 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. is free and open to the public. 12 Artists with 24 original art pieces will participate in the show, and many of the artists will attend the reception. |

Gallery Sitka, celebrating their ten year anniversary, announces “Summer Lights” exhibit featuring New York artists Beth Barry, Barbara Groh Wahlstrom, Shira Toren and a fine jewelry launch by New York City jewelry designer, Always, A. The opening reception is Saturday, June 15 from 4:30-6:30pm at Gallery Sitka on the corner of Spring and Franklin Streets. The artists will be in attendance at the reception, which is free and open to the public. The show will be displayed through July 15. |
