    The painting medium I use is casein, which is an opaque water-base paint. The advantages are that casein dries fast, needs no special solvents and, since it is opaque, colors can be overlaid very easily.

On the following Sunday, December 8, the exhibit will also be one of the stops on the Newport Art Trolley & Gallery Stroll. The reception and the trolley are free and open to the public. The show will be up through the end of December.

    Therefore, again, this year, we want to focus again on water. The flooding continues and the inches of water rise. Being next to the bay in Newport, watching the old homes get taller, as they are lifted, we can see the reality of water rising.
