Bull Run

My brush strokes are fast and non-deliberate. I have no predetermined result. I paint how I feel at that moment. My paintings can be enjoyed up close. Most important is to take your time and let the painting emerge for you.

Susan Edwards is an adventurer and creative artist using various media to produce works depicting biodiversity and her love of people and the planet. Susan’s proudest accomplishment is her award-winning film Marion Stoddart: The Work of 1000, an inspirational story about acclaimed environmental pioneer, Marion Stoddart, and the cleanup of the Nashua River. 

The painting medium I use is casein, which is an opaque water-base paint. The advantages are that casein dries fast, needs no special solvents and, since it is opaque, colors can be overlaid very easily.

I am interested in how “story” works in our experience of ourselves. We are inherent story makers in the sense that our experiences become stories when they move to memory.
