Dean Pagano — Artist’s Biography & Statement
Born: Farmingdale, NY | April 1999
Studio: New York City, NY
Born in April 1999, I am a native New Yorker from Long Island, currently based in New York City. With an educational background from the London School of Economics (LSE) and Mercy University, I have developed a robust foundation in both analytical and creative disciplines. As a full-time multimedia independent artist, my work spans various forms and mediums, reflecting a prolific output and a deep commitment to artistic exploration. My style is expressionist, cerebral, and kinetic, capturing the dynamic and often chaotic interplay of emotions and stream of consciousness (or sub-consciousness, if you will.)
In addition to my visual art practice, I am also a passionate musician. I am the guitar player and lead vocalist for the band ‘Ditch the Mold,’ where my creative expression continues to evolve and expand. My work in both art and music is a testament to my dedication to pushing boundaries and exploring new creative horizons.
