Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 (Nov 5) – Arrival & Welcome
Arrival in Lisbon and check-in at your boutique hotel.
Evening: Welcome dinner with the group, introductions, and a preview of the week ahead. Discuss the contemporary art scene is Lisbon and what it has to offer.
Meals included: Dinner
Day 2 (Nov 6) – Contemporary Lisbon
Morning: Start the day off with a daily briefing while enjoying some breakfast.
Afternoon: Attend a guided visit to selected galleries and exhibitions participating in Lisbon Art Weekend, featuring curator-led visits and artist encounters. Then take a rest and have lunch in one of Lisbon’s creative neighborhoods.
Evening: Attend exhibition openings and special events.

Day 3 (Nov 7) – Artists, Spaces & Collections
Morning: Start the day off with breakfast and a daily briefing.
Afternoon: Discover new art on a curated neighborhood art walk. Visit artist studios and independent project spaces, including special exhibitions, collections, and cultural venues. Then take a rest and have lunch as a group.
Evening: Group dinner and wine tasting.

Day 4 (Nov 8) – The Future of Lisbon’s Art Scene
Morning: Start the day off with a closing conversation about the program while enjoying breakfast.
Afternoon: Explore artist exhibitions and gallery visits. When time is available, exploration recommendations are considered. The program concludes in the afternoon.

In Lisbon, we’ll be staying at a bold, design-forward boutique hotel just off one of the city’s grand central avenues. Option 1 – Shared Room – $2250 per person
3 nights in Lisbon boutique hotel in a twin room with ensuite bathroom, shared with one other guest (each has their own twin bed).

Portugal is famous for its rich culinary heritage. Enjoy local dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients. Vegetarian options are available. Strict vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and severe allergy accommodations may be limited due to the rural setting. Please indicate dietary restrictions clearly on your booking form.
Accessibility
The retreat includes walking 5–10 minutes between accommodation, workshops, and dining spaces in Cerdeira. Terrain may include gravel, stairs, cobblestones, paths, and slight elevation changes. Workshops require standing and using hand tools.

The retreat begins and ends in Lisbon, Portugal (Humberto Delgado Airport, 7 km from city center).

November in Portugal offers warm days (18°C / 64°F) and cool evenings (12°C / 53°F). Bring layers, comfortable clothing, a light jacket, and suitable walking shoes. Light rain is possible.
