Gallery Sitka announces “Nature’s Patterns” exhibit featuring two artists, Ylenia Mino, an Italian artist who resides in Long Beach, California and Wailuku, Hawaii, and Rebekah Robinson who lives in Colorado. The exhibit reception is open and free to the public Thursday, July 18, 5:30-7:30pm; both artists will be in attendance. Gallery Sitka announces the “Art with Intention II” exhibition featuring 15 artists from the National Association of Women Artists—MA Chapter. The opening reception and celebration on Sunday, August 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. is free and open to the public.

Gallery Sitka’s latest exhibition, “Off Season” by Mary Ann Rossoni opens with a reception on Sunday, December 1, 2-4pm at Gallery Sitka in Newport, on the corner of Spring and Franklin Streets. On the following Sunday, December 8, the exhibit will also be one of the stops on the Newport Art Trolley & Gallery Stroll. The reception and the trolley are free and open to the public. The show will be up through the end of December.

The scene of the world has not changed much from 2023/2024. This includes the weather and the issues with the waters on the planet. We love our planet so much and love the water!
Therefore, again, this year, we want to focus again on water. The flooding continues and the inches of water rise. Being next to the bay in Newport, watching the old homes get taller, as they are lifted, we can see the reality of water rising.
Join us for the 2nd Friday of April for a Floral Feast of Art! There will of course be a wine tasting as well. The art will be focused on florals - a feast for the senses!

Join us for the 2nd. Friday of May to celebrate art surrounding the topic of family. This will feature works relating to moms, motherhood and family. There will of course be a wine tasting as well. It is a great event to bring the whole family to!
