Gallery Sitka announces a solo exhibition with Jerrell Angell; the opening reception is free to the public Saturday, September 7 from 2-4pm. Gallery Sitka/Newport is located on the corner of Spring and Franklin Streets; the show will be displayed through the end of September.
Gallery Sitka’s latest exhibition, “Off Season” by Mary Ann Rossoni opens with a reception on Sunday, December 1, 2-4pm at Gallery Sitka in Newport, on the corner of Spring and Franklin Streets. On the following Sunday, December 8, the exhibit will also be one of the stops on the Newport Art Trolley & Gallery Stroll. The reception and the trolley are free and open to the public. The show will be up through the end of December.
Join us on Saturday, February 8 from 1-3 PM for an art opening: "Winter's Blaze"!
It will include work by Rux Daria, Marston Clough, Barbara Groh Wahlstrom, Marli Thibodeau, Kate Huntington, Kathy Gelfand, and exquisite jewelry by LaurentiNY.
Light refreshments from the Newport Wine Cellar will be provided.

Therefore, again, this year, we want to focus again on water. The flooding continues and the inches of water rise. Being next to the bay in Newport, watching the old homes get taller, as they are lifted, we can see the reality of water rising.
