Description: The shadow of my vintage desk chair fell on a blank canvas, in my former studio in Worcester, Mass. I traced the outline, intrigued by the shapes and story it started to tell. A landscape emerged, a kind of emotional dreamscape in which I sought peace and escape, and in which I felt the draw of the loving embrace of the sea and its shore. There is love and longing; also fear of a dream broken and loss.
