“Squeeze” by Melanie Zibit

This sculpture, Squeeze, suggests a form that is malleable, very physical and expressive, like squeezing a lump of clay.  If the viewer looks closely, they can visualize the impression of a hand grasping the form from the top and squeezing. If the viewer could actually pick up the sculpture, they would find just the opposite, how solid and hard the material is.
