“Sunrise on the Pacific” by Melanie Zibit

Sunrise comes from an inspiration watching the color patterns stretch across the sky in the early morning light on the coast of the Philippines. It  was modeled directly in wax and then cast in bronze without a mold, making this piece one of a kind. The sculpture is a memoir of a recent visit to the Philippines with its beautiful sunrises, its tropical red and blue sky and dramatic ocean vistas.
